How to decide what session package you actually need.
It can be really hard to decide how much you really need when picking photography packages. There are so many pieces to decide on, like session time, number of images, and even locations allowed.
To make things easier, I created a quick informational read to help you choose a session package that feels right for you, without overthinking every option. There is no wrong combination here. The goal is simply to match your session to the experience you’re envisioning.

Start by thinking about how many final images you realistically want from your session.
Ask yourself, what will I use these for? Where they will live after the shoot can affect the # you are interested in (ex., social media vs a few well-framed images in your home).
5 to 15 Images
Best for those wanting a smaller, curated collection of favorites.
15 to 35 Images
A balanced gallery with some variety and flexibility.
35 to 50 Images
Ideal for fuller storytelling galleries, albums, or larger collections.
You do not need to decide this perfectly right now. This is simply meant to give you an informed starting point.

Next, choose your session length based on how much variety you want during the session itself.
Variety = how many outfit and scenery changes are you hoping for. 4-5 and 2 locations? Or are you okay with a simple outfit in one area?
45 Minutes
Best for one outfit and one location.
60 Minutes
Great for one to two outfits with more posing and scenery variation.
90 Minutes
Allows for a more relaxed pace with 2 to 3 outfits and a larger variety of backgrounds.
2 Hours
Best for maximum variety, multiple outfits, and a second location.
As a general rule, I recommend at least 30 minutes per outfit and about 1 hour per location so nothing feels rushed.

The only physical keepsake I offer that requires your yes/no selection from the get-go is Albums, as they include custom work which takes place before your session. All other keepsakes can be selected and ordered after your session, although it is recommended to discuss potential keepsake needs during our pre-session consultation.
