‘Heirloom’ refers to the finished physical outcome of your session. These keepsakes range from hand-crafted albums and museum-quality framed prints to holiday cards for family and friends to enjoy. 

By including a Heirloom in every package, I ensure your images don’t collect digital dust. You’re not left researching paper quality, frame proportions, or glue types. I handle those decisions intentionally and professionally.

The focus is physical preservation. However, you will always receive digital copies of your album layout and selected images, allowing you to reprint or expand your collection in the future.

After your session, I curate a selection of images and deliver them to you to review from the comfort of your home, with no pressure or expectations.

As you go through your images, you’ll complete a short written reflection. This is where the narrative behind the images takes shape. I incorporate your words directly into the album design alongside your selected photographs, handling the full design process from start to finish.

Once the design is finalized, production is completed through a professional lab that works exclusively with photographers and has been known for exceptional craftsmanship for over five decades.

What you receive is a finished heirloom, not a design project left on your to-do list.

First is Materials. Framed Prints and Canvases are made with archival inks, and all albums are made with durable covers, available in leather and linen. When selecting materials and a production partner, durability and longevity were non-negotiable. 

The second thing that sets my heirlooms apart is their ability to remember the full story, not just beautiful snapshots. 

I grew up looking through my parents’ scrapbooks; albums filled with handwriting, notes, keepsakes, and small pieces of everyday life. I wanted to recreate that depth of meaning, but in a format built to last without adhesives or fragile materials.

Written reflections from yourself and loved ones are included in classic fonts or as custom scripts created from the author’s handwriting.

For children’s sessions, true-to-size handprints or footprints can be included, along with artwork or special images of your own, taken from the year.

Meaningful items such as letters, ticket stubs, pressed flowers, or other physical mementos can also be professionally scanned and integrated directly into the design.
