About Me
Based in North Carolina and available for travel, I create portraits that capture the events and milestones too precious to leave undocumented. I use my background in fashion and the commercial industry to combine professional lighting and posing skills with authentic storytelling, creating images meant to live beyond the screen.
Originally from Michigan, I now call Raleigh home. A home is where you feel safe. That is what I strive for in every session. The way I approach every session is designed to make clients feel comfortable, confident, and truly seen. I can pick out the best shoe to match your outfit, grab my hairspray from the car to catch your flyaways, or help you decide which frame design best matches the paint in your living room.
I am all in, from the first phone call until the photos are in your hands. Because I believe that is where true magic happens.

Education & Experience
I hold a BA in Photography from Brigham Young University Idaho and have trained extensively since high school through independent and staff-supervised projects. I’m skilled in both digital and film photography, including traditional development and printing processes, and I have over seven years of Photoshop experience and three years of professional studio lighting experience. I’ve also taught and mentored photographers located internationally, sharing my on-set and retouching expertise to further their businesses.
Publications & Campaigns
From an early age, my work has been recognized professionally. At 19, I was published in two magazines for a fashion shoot I directed, and I also reached the final round of Nigel Barker’s fashion photography contest through Adorama. In 2025, I photographed campaigns for The Nail Junkie Inc. and Made by Mary, including ecommerce, lifestyle, and product launches.
Most recently, in Sept 2026, I worked as a test photographer for a reputable fashion modeling agency in Riga, Latvia. These experiences have made me who I am, and the skills I gained from them and continue to gain I bring with me to every session.
Portrait & Client Work
My work is grounded in strong technical skill, which gives me the freedom to craft images to fit clients’ needs. I’ve captured weddings, engagements, family gatherings, birthdays, graduations, proposals, and documentary-style projects — always with the goal of creating portraits that are timeless, intentional, and made to be treasured and passed down.
